These Supporters Program Terms apply to creators who enable the KnowledgeTack Supporters Program and to people who send one-time or monthly support through KnowledgeTack.
Support is voluntary appreciation. It does not create a client relationship, service agreement, consulting relationship, guaranteed reply, advice obligation, access right, deliverable, custom work obligation, or exclusive content promise.
The Supporters Program is a way for people to say thanks when a creator's public knowledge helped them. A supporter should only send money if they are comfortable receiving nothing in return except the satisfaction of supporting the creator's work.
Creators may thank supporters or display public supporter messages where permitted, but they are not required to respond, create content, answer questions, provide advice, consult, or perform services because support was sent.
Creators must meet KnowledgeTack's automatic eligibility requirements before joining the Supporters Program. KnowledgeTack may change eligibility requirements, disable a creator's Supporters Program, remove featured supporter messages, or restrict the feature when needed for abuse prevention, fraud, prohibited content, harassment, spam, legal risk, payment network rules, Stripe requirements, or platform integrity.
Support payments are processed through Stripe-hosted payment flows. KnowledgeTack does not store full card numbers on its application servers. Creators connect or set up a Stripe account to receive support.
Support payments are generally non-refundable unless required by law or voluntarily refunded by the creator. KnowledgeTack is not a party to a separate service contract between supporter and creator because support does not create such a contract.
Monthly support can be canceled anytime through Stripe's billing portal where available. Canceling stops future renewals but does not automatically refund previous payments.
Supporters may optionally include a message and choose a visibility setting before being redirected to Stripe. KnowledgeTack uses these settings to control product-level display inside KnowledgeTack.
KnowledgeTack may hide, remove, or refuse public display of supporter messages for moderation, safety, legal, or platform integrity reasons.
Creators may not use the Supporters Program to sell services, paid advice, consulting, custom work, guaranteed replies, restricted access, deliverables, illegal activity, deceptive offers, or anything that violates KnowledgeTack's Terms of Service, Stripe's rules, payment network rules, or applicable law.
These Supporters Program Terms supplement the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict for Supporters Program activity, these terms apply to that activity unless applicable law requires otherwise.
